Stakeholder Relations Program

Our ongoing consultation with stakeholders and their representatives is crucial for understanding how our operations impact them, and ensuring their needs are considered when we craft our strategy. Our responsibility to both internal and external stakeholders, outlined in our Corporate Stakeholder Commitment Statement, includes understanding and addressing current and potential impacts, responding to their concerns, and transparently communicating our sustainability decisions and performance.

Our annual stakeholder engagement process employs a holistic approach to engaging and addressing the concerns of stakeholders. Each business unit is responsible for identifying, planning, executing and monitoring their stakeholder engagements, while stakeholder prioritization is undertaken by the organization as a whole and is the first step of our annual materiality review. Our Board of Directors does not directly engage with stakeholders other than senior management, but delegates this task to the management team. The BROC reviews and endorses any notable findings from the stakeholder engagement efforts conducted by the management team to the Board of Directors.
