Your privacy is important to Converge Information and Communications Technology Solutions, Inc. (collectively referred to herein as “Converge”, “us”, “our” or “we”). We are committed to safeguard your personal information and uphold your privacy rights, pursuant to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (“Act”) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (“IRR”).
This Privacy Notice applies to the personal data that we collect and process in connection with the delivery of our services and the provision of the best possible customer experience. This covers the personal data of our customers, prospective clients, and individuals who interact with Converge through our physical locations (e.g., Business Centers, pop-up booths, etc.) or virtual platforms, including our official websites and social media accounts.
For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, “Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual, including Personal Information, Sensitive Personal Information, and Privileged Information.
In full compliance with the Act, and its IRR, Converge, with its main office registered in New Street Bldg., Mc Arthur Highway, Balibago, Angeles City, Pampanga, is a “Personal Information Controller” or PIC.
Information We Collect
We adhere to the Data Privacy principles of proportionality, transparency, and legitimacy. Any information or personal data that you voluntarily provide to us will only be used for the purpose for which the information was provided to us.
The information that we collect from you may include the following:
- Personal Identifiable Information
- Title/Salutation
- Full name
- Billing or service address
- Birth Day, Birth Month and Age Range
- Contact Number
- E-mail address
- Account number of existing plan or subscription (if any)
- Account Password when you log in your online portals accounts or publicly available systems
- Sensitive Personal Information
- Government issued ID
- Payment and Financial Information
- Debit or credit card details (cardholder name, card number, expiration date, etc.)
Other forms of payment (if such are made available)
- Non-Personal Identifiable Information
- Company name and position
- Company contact details
- Account number of existing plan or subscription (if any)
- Account Payment Details, if you will be paying for our service through our third-party payment channels or merchants
- Modem Serial Number
- Calls to Consumer Engagement Services
Calls to our CES provider may be recorded or listened to. We do this as part of our operational functions (e.g., quality assurance, training and development, etc.). Rest assured that conversations involving your payment or card details will not be recorded. In compliance with existing laws, you will be informed beforehand about such recording.

How We Collect Your Information
You directly provide Converge with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Inquire or agree to fill out any of our official forms (manual or digital) whether through our physical business centers, pop-ups, events, roadshows, etc. or through our official online websites, apps, and social media accounts.
- Inquire or register or place an order for any of our products or services.
- Submit application documents in connection with our sales activities through authorized sales channels including Tele and Digital sales.
- Engage us for troubleshooting assistance.
- Post any content information and interact with any of our official websites or social media sites.
- Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our physical or digital channels.
- Use or view our official websites via your browser’s cookies. We obtain certain information by automated means when you visit our site. - Use our Online Self-Service Platforms.
Converge may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:
- Third Party Service Providers. Your Personal Data can also be obtained through our authorized third-party service providers (“Service Providers”) to facilitate transactions related to your customer journey from customer on-boarding, installation, repair and maintenance, after sales, customer retention up to off-boarding. In all transactions, our Service Providers are mandated to comply with the Data Privacy Act and its IRR.
- Converge business partners with which we offer co-branded services or in joint marketing activities.
- Referrals through our “member-get-member” and employee referral programs.
Why We Collect Your Information
We will only collect and process your personal information under the following legal basis and for the purposes set out below:
- To perform the obligations under our contract with you.
- To comply with legal obligations.
- To pursue our legitimate interests, including but not limited acts necessary to provide you with our services, but only when the same is according to your interests and rights as a data subject.
- Upon your consent once you inquire or avail of our products and services to create, establish and offer better products and services for you. This includes direct marketing for Promotional and Marketing purposes where we process your personal data to send customized offers and promotions through the information you provided in different channels such as SMS, voice calls, and e-mail.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information when you inquire or avail of our products for these purposes:
- To perform our business operation activities including the provision of the products and fulfillment of the services that we offer;
- To send communications, including promotional communications; and
- To show advertising, whether in our own products, or in products offered by third parties.
Your Personal Data is used for the following essential business operational activities such as but not limited to:
- Processing of new or existing plan subscription/s
- Improvement of products and overall services
- Customer acquisition
- Installation, repair and maintenance
- Billing, payment, and collection processing
- After sales support
- Conducting research and analysis through feedbacks and surveys
- Enhance financial insights on clients for proper risk management
Your Personal Data is also collected to personalize our communications with you. We may contact you through:
- Calls, Emails, SMS Notifications to inform you about our account-related services;
- Written communications or third-party collection agencies to collect your payment obligations or perform win-back mechanisms;
- Survey participation only if you provide explicit consent; and

Additionally, Converge, or authorized Service Providers, may use your Personal Data to inform you about the following:

- Obligations arising from any contracts we both entered into;
- Participation in interactive features of our service (consent based) and
- Changes in our service.
If you are an existing customer, we will only contact you via e-mail or SMS with information about products and services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale from you.
If you are a new or potential customer, and where we permit authorized Service Providers to obtain or process your information, we (or they) will contact you based on the contact information that you provided only if you have consented to this. If you do not want us to use your Personal Data for marketing promotional campaigns, or to pass your details on to third parties for marketing purposes, then:

We use your information when you visit our Buildings or Offices for these purposes:
- Building security and access control
- Emergency response and evacuation procedures
- Investigations whether internal to Converge or as required by regulatory authorities, or law enforcement agencies
We use your information when you attend any of our Company events for these purposes:
- Perform essential business operational activities such as, but not limited to, internal reporting purposes;
- Determine the number of attendees during our conducted Events;
- Send announcements and communications, including promotional communications and giving out of prizes won during the Event attended; or
- For any other purpose to which the Data Subject consents with the specific Event

Use of Artificial Intelligence
We may utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance our services, gain operational insights, and improve client experience. Only anonymized and aggregated data or data that does not identify any individual may be used in these AI systems. No personally identifiable information will be processed by or fed into these AI tools. Our use of AI tools shall be in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and strictly adheres to the guidelines set forth in the National Privacy Commission (NPC) Advisory No. 2024-04. We are committed to ensuring that your personal data remains protected, and we uphold the principles of transparency, fairness, and accountability in the use of AI.
Information We May Share
We do not sell or disclose your personal data, except as described in this Privacy Notice or as required under applicable laws and regulations.
Your information may be shared with our authorized Service Providers who perform specific services on our behalf.
Our Service Providers are not authorized by Converge ICT to use or disclose personal data shared to them only except as necessary to perform specific services. We mandate our partners and Service Providers to appropriately safeguard the privacy and security of personal data they process on our behalf.
Further, we may also share your information if it includes exchanging information with other company (ies) or organization(s) for the purposes of fraud protection and/or credit risk reduction. For example, when you provide payment information regarding payment obligation of your account subscription, we share payment information with banks and other entities that process payment transactions or provide other financial and payment services.
Lastly, we will only access, transfer, disclose, and preserve Personal Data, including its content (such as the content of emails you send to Converge or files in private folders on our database servers), when it required of us to:
- Abide by the Act and its IRR or any applicable laws or respond to valid legal process, including those from law enforcement or other government agencies;
- Protect our customers, from spam or other unwanted communications;
- Operate and maintain the security of our products, including to stop an attack on our computer systems or networks;
- Prevent the loss of life or serious injury to anyone;
- Protect the rights or property of Converge, including enforcing the terms governing the use of the services.
- Note that if we receive information indicating that someone is using our services to traffic in stolen intellectual or physical property of Converge, we may refer such matter to law enforcement.
Cross border Data Transfers
In the course of providing our services, we may transfer your personal data to countries outside the Philippines due to our use of cloud technology.
Cloud computing involves storing and processing data on remote servers accessed via the internet, rather than on local systems. These servers are often operated by third-party providers and may be located in multiple jurisdictions around the world. As a result, your personal information may be stored or processed in countries that may not have the same data protection laws as your home country.
When we do so, we ensure that such cross-border transfers are conducted in compliance with the Act, its IRR, and other relevant data privacy laws and regulations, as applicable. We shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is afforded a level of protection that meets acceptable data privacy standards, including the implementation of contractual safeguards, data protection agreements, and other lawful mechanisms.
How We Secure Your Information
By providing your Personal Data, you consent to its collection, processing, and storage. We ensure that your data is secure, protected, and managed accordingly. We also ensure that the appropriate and applicable technical, physical and organizational measures are implemented to safeguard your privacy and security of your personal data, in accordance with this Privacy Notice, the Act, and its IRR.
How Long We Keep Your Information
Your personal data will be maintained from the moment of collection and for as long as necessary in fulfilling the legal, regulatory, or business purpose. After cessation of the legal, regulatory, or business purpose, data is retained for five (5) years unless required for a longer period under applicable laws and statute of limitations.
Data Subject Rights
Converge would like to make sure you are fully aware of all your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
- Right to Access Personal Data. You have the right to access, review and request a physical or electronic copy of information held about you. You also have the right to request information on the source of your Personal Data;
- Right to be Informed – your right to be notified if your data has been compromised.;
- Right to Erasure – In certain circumstances, We will not be able to delete your Personal Data without also deleting your user account. We may be required to retain some of your Personal Data after you have requested deletion, to satisfy our legal or contractual obligations. We may also be permitted by applicable laws to retain some of your Personal Data to satisfy our business needs;
- Right to Rectification – to dispute and have corrected any inaccuracy or error in the data we hold about you;
- Right to Portability – obtain and electronically move, copy or transfer your data in a secure manner;
- Object to Processing – object to the processing of your Personal Data;
- Right to Damages – claim compensation if you suffered any damages due to the unlawful or unauthorized use of your Personal Data;
- Right to File a Complaint – If your personal information has been misused, maliciously disclosed, or improperly disposed of, or that any of your data privacy rights have been violated, you have a right to file a complaint.
