Converge, AmCham forge alliance to drive digital transformation in the Visayas

Leading fiber broadband and technology solutions provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc. and the American Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (AmCham) Visayas Chapter have formed a strategic alliance to drive digital transformation across the central Philippines, accelerating regional economic growth and enterprise resilience.

Converge Global Business, the ICT firm’s corporate and large enterprise arm, and AmCham Visayas co-presented the strategic forum—"Digital Transformation in Action: Building a Smarter Future"—that was attended by C-suite executives, local government officials, and industry decision-makers held recently at the Bai Hotel Cebu. The exclusive industry gathering highlighted the critical role of robust digital infrastructure in powering innovation, modernizing operations, and future-proofing businesses in the region.

Providing a concrete blueprint for local government unit (LGU) modernization, Danao City Information and Communication Technology Office (CICTO) Department Head Jaive Joseph B. Roble shared the city's digitalization journey. He underscored how tech-driven governance drastically enhances public service delivery and community connectivity.

“Digital transformation is here and now. We must stop guessing because data is the new gold—we need to connect, analyze, and become truly data-driven to create impactful solutions for our communities,” Roble emphasized.

Throughout the session, attendees tackled emerging enterprise trends, network reliability standards, and actionable roadmaps for integrating advanced digital tools.
