2025 Whistleblowing Anniversary
Whistleblowers Day 2023
To our Converge and Metroworks family:
It's been more than a year since we enacted a Whistleblowing Policy and enhanced our corporate housekeeping. This is not just to align with global standards in our mission to be a world-class ICT company but also signifies our strong commitment to uphold good corporate governance. It is a commitment we make to our customers and to ourselves.
Based on June 2023 data, we have already exceeded the number of incident reports that were logged in 2022. We take this as a positive sign that employees feel more empowered to speak up and report corporate misconduct. In Converge, we have zero tolerance for delinquency and wrongdoing, in whatever level in the company. We are grateful to our employees, customers, and even partners for being our vanguards of integrity and for their genuine concern for the company and our people.
At the same time, we would like to assure you that even as more reports are coming in, the numbers tell us that the majority of the reported incidents are resolved through immediate dialogue with supervisors, managers, department heads, and the human resources department. We are happy that such a mechanism for correcting erring behavior is in place.
Mga Ka-Converge and Metroworks, let us remain vigilant to report misconduct especially with a new category of 'Human Rights' in our Whistleblowing Policy. Let us ensure that Converge remains a place where honesty and integrity prevail at all times.
