Converge network services have been adversely affected in the areas hardest hit
by Super Typhoon Karding (Noru), including some parts of Aurora, Pangasinan,
Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Pampanga, Zambales, and Bulacan.
Power outages, extreme flooding, and fiber cuts due to damaged poles have been
detected in these areas. Rest assured that we are working non-stop to
immediately restore service while ensuring the safety of our personnel. For
flooded areas, our teams are on stand-by to commence restoration work as soon
as safety is secured.
While restoration is ongoing, Converge is also mobilizing relief efforts for the
WIFI hubs and charging stations are available for use by the public in the following
Converge business centers: Marikina, Antipolo, San Mateo, and Pasig.

As of this morning, typhoon KARDING (Noru) has intensified into a super typhoon
and shows no signs of slowing down as it moves towards the Philippines.
KARDING is forecast to continue intensifying and may make landfall at or near a
peak intensity of 185-205 kph by this afternoon or evening.
Converge ICT Solutions Inc. assures our customers that we have taken precautions
to secure our network and redundancies are in place to mitigate the impact of the
typhoon to our network facilities.
Our field engineers and network personnel have been on high alert since
yesterday and are closely monitoring our equipment to ensure unhampered
services during this time.
Should the weather deteriorate further, we have set in place our Emergency
Response Protocols that include timely communication of all affected parties, site
inspections, repairs, and restoration.
