Leading fiber broadband and technology provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has recently obtained a Tier III certification for the design of its soon-to-rise Caloocan Data Center.

The certification validates that the said infrastructure was able to meet stringent design standards for redundancy, maintainability, and uptime reliability.

“As we move to introduce new solutions to our customers, our focus is to build future-ready facilities capable of supporting us in providing highly available and resilient services,” said Converge CEO and Co-Founder Dennis Anthony Uy.

“Only a few data centers in the Philippines hold Tier III certification. With this accreditation, we are moving full speed ahead toward having a top-tier digital hub, which we target to bring online by March,” Uy added.

The fiber broadband and technology provider is currently expanding its network of digital hubs to prop up the massive demand for content and cloud services. Converge employs a multi-edge strategy where multiple smaller data centers are deployed closer to end-users to enhance data delivery.

The Caloocan Data Center is designed to accommodate 300 racks and will serve the company’s operational needs. On the other hand, its 1,200-rack data center project in Pampanga is expected to meet the future requirements of both its residential and enterprise customers.

“As digital demands continue to grow, we are dedicated to creating a robust digital ecosystem that can cater to our operations with the highest levels of reliability. That way, we are poised to offer services that will empower our customers in the digital age,” said Converge Chief Network Transformation Officer Paulo Martin Santos.

In line with its efforts to set up state-of-the-art server facilities, Converge is developing data centers that leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support generative AI applications.

Additionally, it will implement liquid cooling solutions to significantly reduce power consumption and minimize environmental impact.
