Learn MoreRight after opening business centers in Cagayan and Nueva Vizcaya, Converge ICT Solutions has now landed in the province of Ilocos. Continuing its mission observing the unserved and underserved Filipinos, Converge opens two new business centers: one in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte and another in Candon City, Ilocos Sur.
“Aside from firming up our domestic backbone, establishing touchpoints, be it online or offline is all part of Converge’s broader ‘Go National’ strategy. We want to be able to serve our customers in ways that are fast and efficient for them,” said Converge Chief Operations Officer Jesus Romero.
In a back-to-back event last week, the country’s only pure fiber broadband provider heralded its entry in the Ilocos region with ribbon-cutting ceremonies, both graced by distinguished government officials and honorable guests including: Gov. Matthew Marcos Manotoc, Vice Gov. Cecilia Araneta-Marcos, Sandro Marcos, Mayor Ericson Singson, Vice Mayor Kristelle Singson, and Madam Grace Singson.
In addition to the celebration, Converge painted the streets of Candon purple as Pagatang riders, a local food delivery app in the region, traversed the town with FiberX banners and materials.
As an effort to sustain and support the tremendous growth in North Luzon customers, these two business centers will be accommodating new applications, customer service queries, and payment transactions via cash or card (visa/mastercard). Truly, every household and business can now have access to an end-to-end fiber internet.
Earlier this month, Converge announced the completion of its national digital highway. With this in place, we can expect Converge to reach the provinces, and soon serve more than half of the Philippines’ population.
